Hampton Lumber is a fourth-generation, family-owned company headquartered in Portland, Oregon. With over 80 years in the sawmill business, we operate facilities in Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia and market wood products worldwide. We also manage a wholesale and lumber export division and multiple reload, remanufacturing, and engineered wood operations throughout the U.S. All our forestlands are certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), reflecting our deep commitment to sustainable forest management, wildlife habitat, and climate solutions.

Overview

We are excited to expand our operations with the construction of a new facility in Allendale County, South Carolina. As we prepare to grow into this community, we are beginning to build a pool of candidates who may be interested in future employment opportunities once hiring begins. While specific job openings have not yet been finalized, we anticipate a variety of positions across all areas of mill operations, including:

 

  • Entry-level production & clean-up roles
  • Skilled trades (maintenance, electrical, millwright)
  • Equipment operators
  • Supervisory and leadership positions
  • Administrative, safety, and human resources roles
