With over 80 years in the sawmill business, Hampton operates sawmills in Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia and markets wood products all over the world. Hampton also manages a wholesale and lumber export division and numerous reload, remanufacturing, and engineered wood manufacturing and sales operations throughout the U.S. through affiliates, Idaho Timber and RedBuilt. All of Hampton’s forestlands are certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), an independent, non-profit organization that promotes sustainable forest management. We are looking for a Sawmill Supervisor to join our team at the Morton, WA facility.
The ideal candidate would be responsible for leading the Sawmill production team in a safe manner, while producing a quality product that meets the set goals. This person is responsible for managing the workflow, troubleshooting when necessary, and assisting in the overall improvement of the operation. This person will assist in the development of current employees, help train new employees, and fill-in as necessary.
Hampton Lumber has operated the Morton plant since 1999. We currently employ 140 people in good, family-wage jobs. Some members of our team have worked here for over 30 years while others have just started their careers.
