Overview

The person in this position will take on the maintenance training, repairs, and communication with the maintenance and electrical supervisors. They will lead electrical and mechanical teams on swing shift to meet expectations in safety, quality and production.  They will cover absentees, breaks, and vacations.

 

The Schedule is Half a day Thursday, Full days Friday-Monday. 5am-3:30pm.

 

Wage is $43.06 an hour ($89,564 annually)

Responsibilities

  • Follow Company lockout, safety, and work standards
  • Must be willing to train any employees as assigned by supervisor
  • Keep up on new technical data pertaining to maintenance and safety
  • Must be willing to work weekends or overtime, as needed
  • Have mechanical/electrical knowledge and experience.
  • Be a team player
  • Notify supervisor of any problem that arise during the shift
  • Practice good housekeeping
  • Communicate pay, time, or attendance issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Communicate mechanical and electrical downtime to supervisors daily.
  • Must be willing to work with apprentices to advance them in the P4P program.
  • Assist with managing runtime PM’s/work orders.
  • Must be willing to perform/assist with repairs on machinery as needed.
  • Provide feedback on apprentice’s progress and make recommendations for progression.

Qualifications

  • Must be a journey level millwright or journey level electrician
  • Some experience in leadership is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Be a self-starter and self-motivated
  • Must hold and/or obtain First Aid/CPR, PIT Certification, & Overhead Crane Certification
  • Valid Washington driver's license is required
  • Good communication skills through writing, speech and hearing
