Forklift operators at Arlington are asked to perform a wide variety of tasks. Forklift operators unload finished product from lumber trucks, sort the product into proper locations, and assist with paper wrapping procedures at the facility. Forklift operators load outbound trucks, box cars, flat cars, and A-frame railcars with the appropriate material. They also perform the necessary car cabling and car tightening, tie down, air bagging, or banding needed for each type of load.  

The primary function of Entry Level - Operator 1 at the Randle Division, is to keep the facility clean in order to eliminate safety and fire hazards. The person in this position will work in the Sawmill or Planer and will be asked to perform the following tasks; general facility clean up including picking up slabs, sticks, sawdust, chips off lower mill floors, and assist with dust mitigation. This is a full time position with cross training lead-ins to operate some of the advanced production equipment in the facility. -

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of millwrights and lubrication technicians to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all mill equipment. This role plays a critical part in establishing maintenance routines, preventive systems, and a culture of accountability in a new-mill environment.

The Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for establishing, developing, and leading the maintenance organization for Hampton Lumber’s new state-of-the-art sawmill. This role builds the foundational maintenance systems, hires and trains the maintenance team, oversees mill reliability, and ensures safe, efficient operation of all mechanical, electrical, and automation assets. The Superintendent will play a key role in commissioning, start-up, and ongoing optimization of mill performance.

We are offering a total of $1500.00 Hiring Incentive as follows: $750 after 6 months of employment; $750 after 12 months of employment (subject to your current tax rates). This position will primarily involve timber sale acquisition, contract administration, and quality control. It will consist of 80% fieldwork and 20% office work.This position will be based out of Chehalis, WA. The work area will be in both Washington and Oregon. This job will be based out of our Sedro Woolley, Washington office. This is a full-time position offering $78,000 - $90,000 annually.
